Come out tomorrow to vote for our local’s delegate(s) to the NEA Respresentative Assembly taking place this July in Orlando, FL.

Join the UIUC Association of Academic Professionals on May 1 to celebrate May Day, also known as International Worker’s Day! We will be screening the film PRIDE (2014) at 6:30 pm at the Champaign Public Library, Robeson Pavilion Room C.
In this film, an unlikely friendship is forged between a small community of striking miners in Wales and a team of London-based gay-and-lesbian activists who help fight for their cause.
This event is free and open to all UIUC AAP and Illinois Education Association members.

On September 16, 2022, the bargaining team and the university tentatively agreed on the new three-year contract (attached below). The next step is for our members to vote on this new contract. Visiting Academic Professionals at UIUC are protected by a contract that expires on August 15, 2022. A bargaining team will be representing VAPs to secure a renewed, even better contract. Please fill out the following survey so the bargaining team can best represent everyone’s interests: https://go.illinois.edu/VAPsurvey
